On Friday evening it was announced that two midfield players of Manchester United tied themselves to longer contracts as a sign of loyalty to the European & domestic Champions. Scholes, one of the best products of Man Utd, has signalled his intention to end his career at the club by extending his contract by another year. Pauls previous contract was expiring at the end of this season. Although currently injured, Paul has long been a faithful servant who played his heart out for the team and always turned up great performances in the centre of midfield. Due to the length of the contract tabled, we are given sufficient evidence to a sume that Scholes intends to end his career in June 2010, at the end of the 2009/10 season.
